What's in a name?
So those of you who go to North Point probably heard Andy's last series, He's STILL Got the Whole World in His Hands. I know it was a topic that is relevant to a lot of people right now but I totally felt like it was directed at me! It was a great thing to hear! Andy read Philippians 4:4-7- Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let you gentleness be evident to all. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. I started praying this verse the night that Patrick and I decided to start trying to have a baby. That was a year and a half ago. I prayed that verse so many times that I think I missed the real message behind it. I felt so challenged by the way that Andy broke down the verse. I was praying it because I wanted a baby, a valid request, but I was not getting to the heart of my request. I have learned some things about myself this past week since I have started praying this prayer a little differently. Not quite ready to share them on here but would love prayer support on this. I am praying till the peace comes (thus the blog name), but I fear I will be in prayer for this for a long time.

I hear you. Powerful, challenging message. I am praying for you, for a baby of course, but for these deeper things too...SO thankful for your sweet friendship and for the way you share your heart through this journey.
